What it is
Kisspeptin is produced in the hypothalamus and acts as the master regulator of the HPG (Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Gonadal) axis. Kisspeptin-10 is the active signalling fragment. Research interest focuses on its ability to stimulate LH and FSH pulses, which drive natural testosterone production. It has been researched in the context of hypothalamic amenorrhoea, testosterone optimisation, fertility support, and HPG axis restoration after suppression (e.g. post-hormone therapy). Evening timing aligns with natural LH pulse patterns. Cycle-based use prevents desensitisation of kisspeptin receptors (GPR54).
